JR. NETWORK ENGINEER
The purpose of role
The candidate will be expected to have responsibility for performing Network Operational duties, basic troubleshooting, monitoring and working on tickets, adhere to SLAs, liaising with WAN providers to identify, solve and track WAN-related network issues, capacity management of network equipment employed across all of the client’s networks, reporting.
What you need
Good knowledge of networking protocols, specifically TCP/IP.
Network fundamentals including routing & switching
Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and creative problem-solving abilities.
Must be able to collaborate with others and work well in a team.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Read, write and speak English fluently, including technical concepts and terminology.
Availability to work on shifts, providing 24/7 support, part of the global Network Operation Center (NOC)
MID LEVEL (2-5 Y)
What you will do
Analyze and interpret daily logs, tech tips and procedure manuals and actively involved into documentation and Knowledge Management
Respond to incidents and service request, dispatch tickets to 2nd level support
Understand and comply with company & team procedures
Work independently and as part of Level 1 team providing basic & guided troubleshooting for following areas: LAN, WAN, WLAN, Network Access Control, Proxy Servers, Firewalls
